A native Texan, I grew up in Richardson, Texas, graduating from J.J. Pearce High School. I attended Baylor University in Waco, Texas, for my undergraduate degree and I attended and graduated from St. Mary's University Law School in San Antonio, Texas. Although many other attorneys practice family law as an after-thought or as a part of a more general practice format, my law practice is devoted solely to family law matters, including divorce, custody, child support, visitation and division of marital estates, as well as modifications, paternity, pre- and post-marital agreements and adoptions.
Many family law matters involve sensitive and emotional issues and can represent a very confusing, frightening and difficult time in any client's life. As a sole practitioner, I offer each client the individual attention and strong, competent, practical and ethical representation I feel each client deserves. In addition, years of experience as a family lawyer have taught me that there IS such a thing as an uncontested divorce. I am able to offer the same level of representation and experience for a flat fee to those clients who have uncontested, agreed family law matters. Flat fees are quoted on a case-by-case basis and are based upon the evaluation of the individual circumstances and specific issues of each client.
I am currently accepting clients who live in Dallas, Kaufman, Rockwall, and Hunt counties, as well as East Texas. There is never a fee charged for an initial 30-minute consultation.
Payment plans are available for the payment of fees on uncontested matters. MasterCard, Visa, American Express and Discover also are accepted.
